the Date!-Fall Clergy Conference, Oct. 6-9 2008
The Diocese of Oregon Fall
Clergy Conference will be held October 6-9 at the
Inn at Spanish Head in Lincoln City (www.spanishhead.com,
800-452-8127),
beginning at 2:00 p.m. on October 6th with a presentation
on Denominational Health Insurance, followed by
a festive reception welcoming new clergy.
The theme for the conference
is "Moving Ahead with Hope."
Our speaker will be the Rev. Ann Hallisey.
Lots more information
will be forthcoming, but please mark your calendars,
and feel free to go ahead and contact the hotel
directly for room reservations. Note that conference
room rates are significantly lower than those
advertised on the hotel website, and that in addition
to standard bedrooms the hotel offers spacious
suites that can comfortably accommodate 2-4
people.
