With over 100 camps to choose from- there is truly something for everyone. From half day to whole day programming and 10 weeks of continuous camps, you will find there are camps that are conducive for the full time working parents (by combining with extended care), as well as for families that are seeking enrichment and academic opportunities in the summer. All of our classes offer hands-on activities, a stimulating curriculum, and fun adventures. Our experienced faculty, beautiful 52 acre campus, and family atmosphere combine to create a wonderful summertime experience for all.
Larry Krieger, author of 17 books (including Direct Hits) will be making his first West Coast appearance this summer, offering a 3 day intensive SAT/PSAT/Study Skills class. Twelve writing and grammar classes, eight math classes, and numerous classes in technology and literature create a remarkable line up of academic courses. Sports has a little of every sport- tennis, baseball, lacrosse, basketball, golf, and soccer are all at OES this summer. Art courses include classes in clay, sewing, glass, and many more. Cooking classes offer a range from fondue to ethnic Indian cooking. Private music lessons in a wide variety of instruments is available, along with a jazz music camp. Leadership, volunteering opportunities, and trips round out our fun-filled summer.
Two-week theme based camps for children entering PreK-Grade 6 offer a well rounded curriculum from music, drama, and art to science and sports. Very educational and engaging, focus studies this summer will be on China, animals, the world of sports, history, and sea animals.
