The Rev. Dcn. Nancy Crawford, St. Mary, Eugene, was installed as president of the Diocese of Oregon Episcopal Church Women’s board at the ECW annual luncheon held in conjunction with diocesan convention on November 9. Bishop Itty presided over the installation of Crawford and the new board members. Donna Anderson was installed as diocesan altar guild directress, a post that has gone unfilled for several years.

Crawford replaces Katharine E.E. Hunt, St. Mary, Eugene, who served as president from 2004-2007. The keynote speaker at the luncheon was the Rev. Margaret R. Rose, director of Women’s Ministries for the Episcopal Church USA. As one of her last duties, Hunt announced that the 17th annual Women’s Spirituality Day will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at St. Mary, Eugene. The event, which draws hundreds of women from throughout the diocese, will be hosted by ECW from parishes in Cottage Grove, Drain, Eugene and Springfield.
