FOCUS ON
HOLY WATER AND BAPTISM

St. Luke’s by the Sea Episcopal Church,
½ mile south of Waldport on Hwy 101
H2Oly Water is the theme for two Children’s
Day events being planned in the Diocese of Oregon.
The 3rd annual Children’s Day at the Cathedral
will be held on Saturday, February 23 at Trinity
Cathedral. And for the first time, a second event,
Children’s Day at the Coast, will be held
on Saturday, April 5 at St. Luke’s by the
Sea. Both events will be centered on the sacrament
of Holy Baptism and will feature a day of well-planned
activities for children in grades K-5. Cost is
$5 per person which includes snacks and lunch.
Children’s Day begins at 9:00 a.m. Parents,
grandparents, and friends are encouraged to attend
the Closing Eucharist at 2:00 p.m.
