My dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I am writing to share my profound sadness in accepting the resignation of Mrs. Barbara Collins, who has served so faithfully as the Executive Assistant to the Bishop and assisting other diocesan leadership positions these past years.

Barbara has been an invaluable member of our diocesan family and she has been a blessing to me personally during the course of my time as your Bishop here in Oregon. She has been faithful in responding to the needs of various committees and commissions throughout the diocese. She has been a tremendous asset in our common life.

I pray that you will join me in bidding God’s blessings as she seeks to transition to serve our Lord in a different venue. I pray the Lord will continue to abundantly bless both Barbara and Lanny in the years to come.
