Please keep Bishop Johncy Itty and members of the Companion Diocese Committee in your prayers as they travel beginning January 22 to Kerala, India, to visit with the Bishop (the Rt. Rev. Thomas Samuel) and members of the Diocese of Madhya Kerala, Church of South India, our sister diocese. The first visit to The Diocese of Madhya Kerala, took place in December 2004. After that, Bishop Samuel and others from Madhya Kerala came to our diocese in 2005 to attend the diocesan annual convention and visit several churches in our diocese.

The committee members accompanying Bishop Itty are: Anne McCollom, Heather Wenrick, Joseph Rose, the Rev. Mary Piper, the Very Rev. William Lupfer and Larry Mullins. They will return the first week in February. We hope to have photographs and commentary from their trip on the web as soon as possible after their return.
