Latino and Latina student scholarship available through Province VII Center for Hispanic Ministries

 AUSTIN, TEXAS – Province VII’s Center for Hispanic Ministries announces a scholarship fund for Latino and Latina students to pursue education programs after high school graduation.

The Jovenes Episcopales College Scholarship Fund (JECSF) offers supplementary financial assistance to high school graduates, said the Rev. Canon Jaime Case, executive director of the Center. Originally launched at El Buen Samaritano Episcopal Mission in Austin when Case directed that ministry, the fund has disbursed $20,000 in the past three years.

Funds for the upcoming spring 2006 semester, as well as the next academic year (fall 06 and spring 07 semesters), are available.
