(Portland, May 24, 2006) Tickets are on sale now for the 3rd Annual Wickets & Wine Auction and Croquet Event to benefit William Temple House's mental health counseling, social services and pastoral care programs.
This year's event will be held Sunday, July 23 from 1 pm to 6 pm at the Bishop's Close and Elk Rock Garden overlooking the Willamette River.
A week's stay at a Paris apartment, a Mexican vacation, stays at Oregon resorts, one-of-a-kind themed baskets, an heirloom quilt and rare vintages of wine are among the items guests will bid on during the live and silent auctions.
Croquet master and 2-time U.S. national champion Tremaine Arkley will demonstrate the fine art of his sport and lead matches for guests throughout the afternoon. Oregon wines will be featured during the wine tasting. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served throughout the afternoon.
Individual tickets are available for $50. Tables of 10 are available for $500 or, with special sponsor benefits, for $1,000 to $2,500.
Advance purchase of tickets is required. Parking will be available at Christ Church in Lake Oswego with continuous shuttles to the Bishops’ Close and Elk Rock Garden.
