The Diocesan Environmental Commission has collected a series of papers that examine water conservation from a Christian perspective (with an emphasis on Episcopal thought and practice). This series, linked here, can also be found on the commission’s web page (go to the left-hand navigation bar, click on “Diocesan Ministries and Commissions”; scroll down to “Mission” until you see: Environmental Commission.)

Included are resources for liturgy and ways in which churches (and individuals) can conserve water; an introduction from the Rt. Rev. Johncy Itty; a water conservation bibliography; an in-depth “Catechism of Creation,” prepared by the Episcopal Church’s Committee on Science, Technology and Faith; and a directory of local and regional water conservation/stewardship organizations.
