Adult Camp Descriptions

3 R’s Adult Camp (Wallowa Lake) $250/deluxe, $210/rustic

Days spent in recreation, reflecting or reading, is just a small part of the 3 R’s camping experience set in the most picturesque corner of Oregon. Hiking, Gondola Ride, Museums, Flightseeing, the list is endless. Come enjoy the fellowship and fresh air as we continue our journey in faith together.

Adult Coast Hike (Maguder) $130/$180/$230 (tiered pricing*)

Join other adults to experience the joy of hiking on the beautiful Oregon Coast. Day hiking trips will include adventures through the lush forests of the coast range, the sandy beaches of the Pacific and the low-lying wetlands.

Alaska Fishing Trip (Trip & Travel) $1850

Join a group of ten Christians who love to fish and learn more about God; fishing for salmon, halibut and bottomfish in Ketchikan’s protected waters. Enjoy fellowship as we explore one of God’s most amazing and wettest creations.

Alpenfest (Wallowa Lake) $130/deluxe, $110/rustic

The Wallowa Lake Alpenfest weekend is put on by the local community as a gala event with great entertainment, local artists, and of course, the famous German Sausage! Come spend the weekend in fellowship with others at camp and enjoy the beautiful Wallowas in the fall.

Birding & Natural History (Suttle Lake) $475

This is a rare opportunity to spend a week in Southeastern Oregon, looking at both the birds and natural wonders of this remarkable area.

Camp Hope (Maguder) $280

Camp Hope is a wonderful community for developmentally disabled adults, ages 15 and older. Campers will experience classic camp activities under the nurturing supervision of caring volunteer staff.

Choir Camp (Wallowa Lake) 190/deluxe, $160/rustic, $90/commuter

Join us for a weekend of singing, worship and fellowship. Enjoy beautiful scenery and good food. Singers have the opportunity to have private voice lessons, and experience workshops that include Basic Musicianship, Handbells, Guitar and Hymnody.

Food For Your Body & Spirit (Alton Collins Retreat Center) Varied Cost-check w/ALRC or gocamping.org or specific camp

The training this year is open to anyone with a love for food who would like to gain skills and confidence to minister through vegetarian cooking. The training will address basic vegetarian menu planning, as well as touching upon other special diets.

Guide & Packing School-Basic & Advanced (Wallowa Lake) $1,100

Learn the basics of guiding, packing, and wrangling skills with a Christian perspective. Includes all meals, lodging, stock and tack. Advanced class builds on skills learned in the basic class so participation in basic class in recommended prior to taking advanced class.

Needlework I & II (Magruder & Latgawa) Varied cost depending on length of stay-check gocamping.org

Needlework Camp is part knitting, crocheting and stitching group, part pajama party, part women’s spiritual retreat. If you are someone who loves to quilt or stitch or knit or be creative in the company of like-minded souls: come join us.

Quilt Show Retreat (Suttle Lake) $200

We will take time to sew and piece together our individual projects, as well as enjoy some of the festivities at the Sister’s Quilt Show.

Quilt Weekend (Suttle Lake) $100

Enjoy a relaxed weekend in a peaceful setting where you can truly focus on quilting to your heart’s content.

Safe Spaces: A Reconciling Retreat (Suttle Lake) $115

This jurisdiction-wide camping retreat will provide gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender persons, and their friends and families, a safe space to tell their stories of struggle and hope.

Shakespeare Camp (Latgawa) $220/Adult, $165/Youth, $115/Child

Attend Shakespeare plays while enjoying the beauty and comfort of Camp Latgawa. Each day a Shakespearean scholar will lead discussions to help you better understand how Shakespeare’s writings can enrich your spiritual life. Picnic dinners and van transportation are provided for each play night.

SPAH Weekend (Suttle Lake) $125

(Spirituality, Pampering and Health Weekend) Pamper yourself with a weekend away that is designed to help you achieve better health. Workshops are professionally led and offer concrete tools to promote better nutrition, effective exercise practices, positive body image and spiritual health.

Strength for the Journey (Suttle Lake) $25 - this camp subsidized by a memorial gift

A four-day clean and sober retreat opportunity for persons living with HIV/AIDS. Participants will be invited to reflect, to rest, and to gain Strength for the Journey.

Transformation Prayer Retreat (Suttle Lake) $280

A spiritual growth retreat which blends contemplation and community.

UFO-UnFinished Objects Camps A & B $100/Camp A, $150/Camp B

Whether it is beads, quilting, cross-stitching, knitting or photo albums, join other crafters to focus on starting or finishing a project.

Vacation for the Spirit-3 R’s (Sawtooth)
