Strategies
for Growth: A Workshop with Charles Fulton
is being offered by The Church Growth &
Development Committee on April 11-12 at
St. Paul, Salem. Fulton who is the Director
of Congregational Development and President
of the Episcopal Church Building Fund brings
a wealth of experience in helping churches
build their congregations. Congregations
are encouraged to send teams with a registration
discount for three or more but not limited
to three. “Send as many as you like,”
stated the Rev. Julie Smith, convener of
the CG&D Committee. We want to make
this workshop accessible to as many congregations
as possible. And we do not want anyone not
to attend for lack of funds.” Scholarships
and funds for housing for those who will
need to travel are available upon request.
The Rev. Jaime Sanders, who has attended
two of Fulton’s classes says, “He
has realistic and constructive ideas for
church growth that he presents in an entertaining
style. And watching a priest and his key
lay leaders becoming energized and creatively
engaged made the class even more meaningful.”
The workshop will focus on:
- Goal oriented
strategies
- Personal and
congregational transformation
- Reinvigorating
your faith community
- Team discussion
for congregational planning.
