The Hispanic commission is formed by the Hispanic churches in the diocese and the churches which have Hispanic congregations. The commission meets for activities programming and mission strategy planning six times a year. Funds are used to purchase materials (hymnals, liturgies, etc.) for our congregations; to help with the spiritual and professional development of our clergy; and to plan and execute activities together.

We recognize that we have a missionary task to accomplish. Plans for the future include determining where Hispanic congregations should be planted, continuing education for our members, and fostering the involvement of Hispanic youth in state and national church events.
