The Youth Ministries Commission provides program support for youth ministries at the congregational and diocesan levels. We provide programs that address scripture, sacraments, prayer, spiritual growth, missionary activity, and pertinent adolescent issues from the Christian perspective. We also provide and promote leadership in the youth programs at all levels.

The Diocese of Oregon seeks to provide resources for all youth leaders, from full-time parish staff to occasional volunteers. In addition to sponsoring biannual gatherings for students in middle and high school (unConventional Youth in autumn and Bishop’s Ball in spring) and trips to provincial and national youth gatherings, the Youth Ministries Commission is able to provide information about religious-education curricula, team-building and community-service opportunities for young people, and ways to create or strengthen a youth program in your congregation.
