The Rev. LeRoy Hammon began as chief financial officer with the diocese on April 1, 2008. He is responsible for administering all accounting and financial processes at the diocese, overseeing cash management and trust fund investments, forecasting systems in support of diocesan decision making and serving as staff liaison to the Program and Budget Committee, the Outreach Ministry Board, the Board of Trustees, the Financial Committee, and the Investment Committee. He is a senior staff advisor to the Board of Trustees and he supervises the finance office staff.

LeRoy was ordained in 2003. He has a master’s degree in science and business administration (University of North Dakota) and a master’s in divinity from the Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest (Austin, TX). He and his wife, Ina, have two grown daughters and five grandchildren. Before his call, he served in a variety of financial managerial positions with the Oregon University System and Oregon State University.
