Interim
administrative team member
The
Very Rev. Lin Knight The
Very Rev. Hollinshead T. “Lin”
Knight is the retired dean of St.
Andrew’s Cathedral, Honolulu,
Hawaii and has been serving as interim
rector at St. Stephen, Portland. His
transition to the interim administrative
team will be completed by May 1. His
duties, in conjunction with team member
Arlene Ullman, include deployment,
vocations, convention supervision,
staff supervision, positive support
of the Assisting Bishop and the direction
of questions and referrals.
Lin is originally from Philadelphia,
PA. He has a bachelor’s degree
in English from Yale University and
a M.Div. from Episcopal Theological
School (now Episcopal Divinity School).
He was ordained in 1962 and has served
in a number of churches in Idaho,
California, Hawaii and Oregon. He
and his wife, Ann, have five grown
children and five grandchildren. The
Knights live in Portland.
