Director of Communications
Deirdre Steinberg
Deirdre is the communications director for the Diocese of Oregon. She is a former print and broadcast journalist with extensive experience in public relations in the non-profit and public sectors. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in mass communications from California State University at Hayward and a master of arts degree in public administration from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR. Deirdre’s responsibilities include strategic communications, editing and publishing the diocesan newspaper, The Oregon Episcopal Church News, media relations, internal and external communications, diocesan publicity, and website content development.
She and her husband, David, have two children in college. When she isn't working, you can find Deirdre at the barn where she enjoys training her dressage horse.
