Arlene Ullman has joined the diocesan staff as a member of the administrative team. Her duties, in conjunction with team member the Very Rev. Lin Knight, include deployment, vocations, convention supervision, staff supervision, positive support of the Assisting Bishop and the direction of questions and referrals.

Arlene is originally from Long Island, NY. She joined the Episcopal Church in 1963. From 1996-2002, she was the executive assistant to Bishop Robert Ladehoff. Arlene attended the Katherine Gibbs School in Manhattan, NY and worked for a variety of management consulting firms in Manhattan and San Francisco, CA. She and her husband, Bob, a retired middle school teacher, moved to Oregon in 1970. They have two grown sons and live in Portland.
