Your voice matters!
Three diocesan committees presented at various locations around the diocese in August 2019, sharing on the work they are doing to hope and plan for our common future. This presentation is now available below along with opportunities for you to share your opinions, questions, and concerns.
Your input is vital as they continue exploring how we want to live, where we want to go, and what kind of bishop we are calling to walk alongside us as Episcopalians in Western Oregon.
Please take some time to view the presentation materials and then respond to the surveys. We want to hear from you!
Since January 2019, the diocesan Vision Committee has worked to develop a new Mission Statement, Core Values, Vision Statement Components, and draft Diocesan Logos. We are proud to present this work to you now for your feedback and appreciate your time and energy in reflecting on the following materials.
Where the bishop, staff and meeting space is located can be an icon of the values held by all the people of the diocese. What we value informs where the bishop, staff, and gathering space is located. As we imagine our diocese in the future, it would be helpful if you would give us your thoughts about where the bishop, staff and gathering space should be located.
Bishop Search Committee
This survey will allow the Search Committee to develop an accurate Diocesan Profile that reflects who we are and captures our hopes and dreams. Your insight will help us discern where we would like to go as a diocese and what kind of bishop we are calling to our diocese.
