April 16-18, 2015
Christ Church, Lake Oswego
Presented by staff from the Diocese of Olympia College for Congregational Development along with Oregonian graduates from that program, this two-day intensive will provide congregational teams with new tools to help congregations develop perspectives, processes, and practices for congregational vitality. The aim of this training is to facilitate and inspire congregational work that helps faith communities of all sizes and developmental stages to most faithfully carry out God’s mission in Oregon. A combination of teaching sessions, small group work, and project development by congregational teams will equip teams to return to their congregations with new skills and specific action plans.
The cost of the training is $75/person. Thursday dinner, Friday lunch and dinner, and Saturday lunch are included with the cost of the training. There will be nutritious vegetarian and gluten free options provided at each meal. Feel free to bring snacks or beverages to share during social times. Event registration begins March 9 and you will find online registration at this link. Registration has been extended to end on April 1 at midnight. Registration will be closed after that time.
Check-in begins at 3:30 on Thursday, April 16, and the program begins promptly at 5:00 pm. The program ends at 2:30 pm on Saturday, April 18. Attendance at the entire event is both strongly encouraged and expected! Future events will be offered in Portland.
