St. Philip the Deacon, Portland Seeks Part-time Congregational Musician

St. Philip the Deacon is seeking a pianist to play for our 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning service, 1-2 Sundays a month. The position requires a time commitment of 3-4 hours per week, including practice time and Sunday. A flat fee will be paid for each Sunday. All types of worship music, including music from the African-American tradition, are used in our worship at St. Philip the Deacon. Ability to work with and take direction from clergy and staff required. Experience with Episcopal liturgy is a plus. Sight reading a hymn from the 1982 Hymnal
Sight reading a hymn from the African American hymn traditionA piece of their choice, suitable for a prelude or postlude
